Public Option Co-op

Notify all union representatives and ask them to take over this project and begin forming a private sector corporation "public option" co-op health insurance program put together by the unions of America. There are over 15,000,000 union members alone. Just one million individuals across the country, union members or members of the general public, (future policy holders) contributing $200 per month for 6 months, is all it takes! It would amount to $1 BILLION TWO HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS ! for a start up fund.  that is ($1,200,000,000.00) !!!

A co-op public option for health insurance

A nonprofit corporation whose corporate charter requires the profits be returned to you, the policy holder, at the end of each year—rather than the current insurance company corporate structure, that allows for hundreds of millions to be sucked out by half a dozen corporate officers. That alone will save 30% to the policy holders. This private-sector public alternative to the currently rigged health insurance system will be spearheaded by labor unions, owned by the customers, the policy holders and open for anyone to join.

It would be a private sector corporation, out of the reach of government lackeys who would try to repeal it, defund it, claim it costs too much, is ineffecient, or strip it of all the provisions like what is being done now with the government plan.

One that would operate at hundreds of millions of dollars less because all the profits will not be being doled out to 6 or 8 individuals on the board of directors and the ceo who control everything those company's do.  A company that won't need to spend millions annually trying to buy off politicians. A coop nonprofit insurance company could reduce policy premiums by 30 to 40 percent by simply not incuring the millions of dollars in annual costs of advertising, paying off politicians and lobbyists along with the hundreds of millions being sucked out of the top of these companies in ceo and director compensation and retirement packages annually.

Full coverage that can not be canceled and retained from job to job including preexisting conditions. You want to strike back at the corrupt government and insurance industry in a way that will matter?

If just 1,000,000 people of all walks of life put in $200 for their one voting share there would be $200,000,000 in one month!.  If we did it for 6 months to fund the insurance company to setup and begin operations, it would have one million policy holders day one, and ONE BILLION TWO HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS in reserve.  Not only that, but people would begin leaving the insurance companies they are currently stuck with and joining the "publicly owned and run coop" and the insurance company's of old would reduce their rates to salvage their shrinking customer base or go out of business.

There is absolutely no reason to not make this reality and reform America, we possess the ability ourselves.

When just a few of the working class get together and stop being divided we can do anything. A coop insurance company will be out of the reach of government and they can not defund it.  Frankly, insurance companies would rather it be a government public option so that they can endlessly cripple it through politicians trying to tell us it is inefficient or wasteful.  Nothing could be more wasteful than the current situation that allows corporations to steal the wealth of the nation created off the backs of the working class without any balancing government equity protecting the middle class workers.

Tell everyone you know and have them come here and sign up.

Soon we will link to a URL that will allow the public to join up and contribute to the startup fund, and ultimately become insurance policy holders.  Customers will have one voting share per policyholder, and will participate in crucial decisions such as the election of corporate officers, officer pay, and more.

A coop brought together right here and put together by the Unions of America, Steel Workers Union, AFL-CIO, Teamsters, hotel maintenance workers, unions UNITED to provide a coop that every member of the public can buy into.

Public option coops in all areas of business

By helping bring together others of like minds to pool resources, we can create coop nonprofit competitors in the free market to better serve the American public's needs in all areas of business. It would be better than any closed corporation or government program, that the corrupt politicians would water down or defund over time.

Local coop banks which can operate at 1/5 of the overhead, (a bank structured so the profits are returned to the customers who own the coop. Each customer owns one voting share and they elect the officers and set their salary) in place of the abusive banking conglomerates and their unreasonable interest rates poor lending practices with hidden fees all to pay dividend and huge salaries and bonuses to a tiny few at the top.  Community banks can be started all over America. By joining this community, millions of like minded individuals will be brought together networking to achieve common goals that are otherwise scattered and disconnected.  Those familiar with the banking industry can set up a local group knowing they have a base of depositors and fellow owners who have a vested interest in the same goal.  People helping each other and making America what it was meant to be.
